Bill's Hot Rod 600 Series Air Conditioning Bracket

These wide set alternator and a/c brackets are designed for the Small Block Chevy using late style heads (1970 & Up). Positions the alternator and a/c units over the valve covers. Stock or tall valve covers can be used with a 3-3/4" to 4" maximum height limit. Various intake manifold combinations will work with the brackets.

The brackets mount to the front face of the heads, using only existing factory drilled holes, therefore no drilling or tapping is required for installation. Some minor grinding or filing on the valve cover flange may be necessary. Short of long water pump versions are available.

The alternator used is a GM and the a/c compressor is a Sanden SD-508. If power steering is going to be used with these brackets, a modified 300 series bracket is available. Stock steel or aluminum aftermarket pulleys can be used with these brackets.

For strength and durability, these brackets are made of 1/4" mild steel plate, finished off in your choice of black powdercoat or chrome plating.

Each 600 Series bracket comes completely assembled, with an adjusting arm, all the necessary stainless steel washers and allen head bolts, an illustrated instruction sheet, belt size recommendations and adjusting tips for an easy installation.
