Bill's Hot Rod 400 Series Alternator Bracket

The 400 Series alternator and a/c brackets are for the Big Block Chevy. The brackets are available either individually or as a pair, depending on your needs, and will work with the short water pump only. The alternator and a/c units are positioned on top of the engine, over the intake manifold and just to the inside edge of the valve covers. Best when used with a single 4-barrel intake manifold.

Bracket mounting is easy because they install using only the water pump and intake manifold bolts. Please note that these brackets will not work with the tall deck block.

The alternator used is a GM, and the a/c compressor is a Sanden SD-508. Stock steel or aluminum aftermarket pulleys can be used with this bracket.

For strength and durability, these brackets are made of 1/4" mild steel plated finished off in your choice of black powdercoat or chrome plating.

Each 400 Series bracket comes completely assembled, with an adjusting arm, all the necessary stainless steel washers and allen head bolts, an illustrated instruction sheet, belt size recommendations and adjusting tips for an easy installation.
