Bill's Hot Rod 500 Series Power Steering Bracket

This power steering bracket was designed for the Big Block Chevy. The bracket positions the pump close to the block, but will still allow it to work with an 8 harmonic balancer. By having three mounting positions, high, medium, and low, the bracket fits a wide range of applications, working best with Bills Hot Rod 400 series of alternator and a/c brackets.

The bracket mounts to the lower left front of the block using the two lower bolt holes located by the timing chain cover (old front motor mount holes). The adjusting arm mounts to the lower water pump bolt hole.

Designed primarily to work with a short water pump, this bracket can also be ordered in a long water pump version if needed. The bracket fits a GM Saginaw power steering pump with attached reservoir, and either the stock steel or aluminum aftermarket pulleys can be used.

For strength and durability, this bracket is made of 1/4 mild steel plate, finished off in your choice of black powdercoat or chrome plating.

Each 500 Series bracket comes completely assembled, with an adjusting arm, all the necessary stainless steel washers and allen head bolts, an illustrated instruction sheet, belt size recommendations and adjusting tips for an easy installation.
